Balance blend from doTERRA is a mix of Blue Tansy, Frankincense, Ho Wood and Spruce and is the blend I am diffusing today. It was a bit of a crazy night last night. I had a naked guy, high on, we think PCP, break into our house, run around the basement and tried to get upstairs in to the living room while myself and the kids were home. Thankfully there’s a lock on that door too. But, after that…I’m just in the mood for a little balance today! And bonus, we’re getting a dog in a few weeks. I’m thinking military like training for it 🙂 But back to our last oil of the 30 Days, 30 Oils Challenge.
Balance is wonderful when you are feeling doubtful, worrisome, unsettled or just need an overall sense of well-being to return to your day. This is also the predominant blend that I am currently using on my little guy with ADHD and ODD, as it is said to work wonders for those conditions as well as bi-polar disorder to even out mood swings and such. To enjoy the most benefit from Balance, you want to diffuse it, however, it can also be applied topically to the feet, neck and back. In fact a nice relaxing neck and shoulder massage with balance may just be the key for anyone feeling particularly out-of-whack. Who doesn’t love a good massage?
If you are thinking about sending your child to school with a little balance, you might try what I have, and buy a clay diffuser pendant like the one that is pictured. I let my little guy choose the pendant he liked, in this case a skull, but no worries, you can find almost anything you like. Simply apply a few drops to the pendant, let it dry so the oil doesn’t get on your clothes and then breathe in the scent whenever you feel like you need it.
I found this pendent HERE on Etsy, but you could get yours from Amazon, any number of online retailers or you could get really creative and make your own with some terra cotta clay from Michaels and a little imagination. Find whatever fits your personal style and run with it!
