As far as oils go, this one is also next on my list to become a part of my collection, and boy do I feel like I need it already this week. I started reducing my little man’s ADHD meds that he’s been having some weird side effects with, and trying some oils on him. Day one was rough, and day two isn’t looking much better. But I digress….
“Elevation combines the uplifting and euphoric floral scents of Lavandin, Lavender, Melissa, Ylang Ylang and Osmanthus with Tangerine, Elemi and Lemon Myrtle to create a unique blend that promotes a positive mood and energized mind and body”. (“Elevation”, doTERRa)
You can use elevation in a diffuser to elevate your mood and start off the mornings with the kids on a good note. At least, that is what I’m hoping for. Mornings around here can be a bit rough. Anything that will start us off with an uplifting and more positive mood has my vote! To carry the uplifting scent with you throughout the day, simply apply to the heart, temples and wrists, reapply as needed. And of course at the end of the day, a few drops of Elevation would be good in a nice hot bath.
This blend can cause skin sensitivity in some people, in which case, you want to dilute with a carrier oil for topical application. Additionally, Elevation may have some UV sensitivity, and staying out of the sun for about 12 hours after application is recommended for those who find this to be an issue.
